Fitness
for Life is Wilmington, North Carolina's premiere corrective exercise
specialist. Founded by Greg Koenig in 1999, Fitness for Life offers
customized training for injury prevention and rehabilitation. Plus, we
provides everyone - from couch potato to triathlete - with the core,
strength and power training to become smarter, stronger and more
efficient.
We evaluate each client using a variety of methods to determine overall fitness; including flexibility, muscular imbalances, proprioception, muscle and joint mobility, impingements, and restrictions in functionality. We'll then design and implement a program based on your individual needs. Our clients are under the direct supervision and tutelage of our specialists at all times.
Fitness for Life also offers CompuTrainer multi-rider virtual cycling. CompuTrainer
MultiRider systems provide a new, exciting and technically superior
method of indoor group bike training and racing. It's a great way to
motivate people to stick with an athletic or exercise program. Stay
tuned for more information about schedules, ride passes and personalized
cycle training.
We are now offering sessions with our COMPEX MUSCLE STIMULATORS. These electrical muscle stimulators (EMS) reproduce the body’s natural process of voluntary muscular contractions with “optimal” electrical impulses. Compex enables athletes to individualize and optimize their workouts so peak performance can be achieved. EMS is not meant to be a replacement for traditional strength training exercises, it’s a complement to your existing sports training program—allowing you to target your training for increased power, endurance, speed and strength.
